Thanks to all who took the trouble to stop by and click, comment or just look at yesterday's effort.
A large version of this will have to wait for e2 membership to club me into submission. I'm not sure if the pixel limit will work too well here, but what the hell!
For those that don't recognise it, this is Ben Nevis, characteristically wearing it's attendant cloak of cloud.
2 sets of five RAW exposures - highlights and shadows - were assembled to produce this shot, with some final tonal massaging in PS.
Believe it or not, the tripod was in fact dead level - it's the river bank which slopes.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it
