Went back to this cracking location again yesterday, but wasn't so lucky with the tide. So here's an archive shot that I haven't posted before.
Huge thanks for all the support of late, it is very much appreciated!
Fabulous image Paul - love that water pouring over those rocks
Heavy and brooding seascape. Something to aspire to.
Look, Paul, if you keep knocking my socks off you are going to have to get me several new pairs, or at least some kind of Immunity from Injury by Images!
It may have even knocked your last image off the top spot on my shorlist!
Superb composition ( no surprise there )
You have captured a dark and moody atmosphere but balanced the exposure well retaining colour and detail.
Nice job Paul.
amazing image paul,
very moody and dark..
Wonderful image. The foreground is particularly stunning and the water movement gives loads of impact.
I really like this. Awesome.
Wonderful light and the detail and sharpness in those rocks.
What Amazing and wonderful capture ,love the light and colour in this shot, very well taken and presented,
Another fantastic image from you Paul.
Wow this is so full of drama Paul - award winning for sure
Lookout here comes the awards!
Yet another top drawer image.
I was at Sharrow Point yesterday without much success. Try again tuesday weather permitting
Fantastic capture.....very well done
another cracker from the master of the rame peninsula
superb image Paul
Fantastic dramatic image. Exemplary photography.
Wonderful light on those rocks. A truly striking image.
A wonderfull image, great light and it goes without saying first class processing. I like the use of the central composition - unusual but works for strong compositions IMHO
Great image from a fantastic location Paul.
I must pay this place a visit. Excellent
What a cracker. Definitely something to aspire to for us newbies.
Thank you all for the kind words and votes!
Special thanks to Daryl for the UA and to Nick for the generous GEA!
AMAZING SCAPE WELL DONE
What a fabulous image, Paul. I love the positioning of the rock in the parting of the clouds, while the foreground is spell-binding in its quality and detail.
A once in a lifetime image Paul, highest quality my friend. Hat's off to this one.
One of the best images I have seen on Epz for some time, you've outdone yourself with this one Paul
Really wow Paul.
Cheers for the UA's Phil and Dougie - very generous of you two!
Quote: What a cracker. Definitely something to aspire to for us newbies.
Newbies? lol I think even many of the pros out there would be quaking in their boots if they saw this! An outstanding photograph from a modest chap.
This is possibly my favourite all time landscape pic. The balance of elements, lead in lines, tonal range, movement, drama, atmosphere all come together like symphonic orchestra to deliver a breathtakingly beautiful image. Did I say I liked it?
It's one that I'd like to click on the large to see a superduper large. so I can enjoy the detail in the foreground rocks and trapped reflecting water and then stroll over to the centre point of cascading falls to enjoy the movement and finally take in the golden and dramatic skyline.
It might be an idea to tone down the orange reflection centre. It's an exquisite extra, but does just draw the eye. Don't knock it back too much it needs to be alive, but just slightly less dominance in the balance. One or two notches lower on the orchestra volume.

I'll make sure that I sort this out when/if I print it.
Cheers for the kind words Pete!!!!!
the large version is breathtaking!
Glad you put a link back to this from your latest shot as i might have missed it. Amazing Paul, well done on the awards and you can add mine too

Congrats on POTW mate its well deserved and I must say you have raised the bar again of late. Not just this shot but the others as well so please keep em coming.
Love looking at this, my eyes just follow all those lines in, even the water crashing over the edges of the rock are spot on.
This has it all and I sgree with everything that has been said about it....If you cannot make a few bob selling this to an agency or direct to a photography book ..nobody can its brilliant,
Stunning, simple as. Many congratulations Paul on all the deserved awards and POTW too
Well done Paul - superb work!
Sorry Paul ,been meaning to catch up but as usual things get in the way .
I think its already been said but this is a piece of art.The way the foreground rocks all seem to face towards the main rock is uncanny .Perfect timing as the wave washes over and then topped by that sky with light pouring through, its the bizz

Don't like it, think its rubbish...
no.. Just kidding, amazing photo, and almost makes me want to give up!
I may have missed it somewhere, but is this picture 'as shot' or have you processed it? I'd like to know how/what.
Many thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the badge Bill - honoured!
Thank you for all the kind words of late Ian
Hi David, it was shot in RAW, so it was necessary to process the image to bring it "back to life" I have posted techniques on the forum in the past. You also may find some ideas on my site.
Spectacular image! Very well done.
