Tired of clicking to see a large version? Upgrade to e2 to browse all photos automatically at their largest size.It took me over an hour yesterday to set up this indoor shot (arrange the three freesia stems, get the lighting as I wanted it, etc.) and only seconds to capture the image.
Admittedly, there was a coffee break in the midst of that hour to help allay increasing frustration at the non-compliance of these awkwardly shaped flower stems
.
My thanks to all who looked at my Hyacinth shot.......your time and attention are much appreciated.
Ronnie.

Another beautiful image Ronnie, stunning light colour and detail..Lin
When I see the beautiful glow in your flowers, I wonder If France's most popular lampshade was based on a lovely freesia.
Ronnie my mate! You create art in your photography, once again perfection.
Regards
Trev.

Well, your patience was worth the trials and tribulations, Ronnie. Are these from Morrisons? If so complain about their produce being so un-cooperative!
Excellent set up showing them off beautifully, as always.
Malc

Attention to detail produces fantastic results, and that's what you've got here Ronnie.

Thanks for these tips/suggestions, Moira, which I shall keep in mind, and thanks to all for the kind comments.
I did eventually end up celloptaping the stems to the inside of a vase but even then they were not in same focal plane and wads of wet tissue were employed to force the issue.
And they are from Morrisons, Malc........I shall lodge a complaint forthwith![]()
Ronnie.
Your patience payed off my friend, the flowers are all neatly composed and behaving well. I love the soft subtle blues and the touch of yellow.
