Trying to capture the green of tree, the sky and the light from the street light.

Hi Again Ben,
Nice twilight shot with some good elements and a balanced composition, seems fairly sharp but there a couple of things to note.
Your composition is a little off, whilst it is okay to chop off branches etc, I feel that the ones on the right and top are so close to the edge, the shot would have looked better if they'd been included or cropped right out. The branches and green plant on the left side could be cropped more which in effect would allow you to just pan right slightly to get a better composition.
You've not said whether this was hand held or on a tripod, if it was the former then I can understand the camera settings but on a tripod I wouldn't have used ISO 800 or a wide an open aperture as f/4.5. There isn't a background to blur out so I would suggest that on a tripod, ISO 100 with say f/11 would have produced better results. Hand held, you're up agaist it at 1/6th second as the rule of thumb is that you should have a shutter speed equal to or greater than the focal length.
I've uploaded a mod to show you what I mean where I have added to the canvas top and right then created branches. I moved the lamp more onto the third as this was too central once the extra cnavas was added. I upped the fill light in the darker areas of the bigger tree and sharpened.
Hope this helps
With Dave. You are also over exposed in the light and sky area. Always better to expose for the highlights, then lighten the shadows in software. You can usually get something out of shadows, but can't put detail back in highlights.
Exposure info also confuses me a little. Tripod really needed for this if you didn't use one.
