Martin Mere wildfowl trust has a pen of asian otters, This photo is of one of the cubs born a few months ago.
When they are out in the pen they are extremely active rarely stopping still long enough to allow a `portrait`
A split second later and this chap disappeared through the hole behind him.
I took this on boxing day - the light levels were not good - the otter was about 2.5 mtrs away..

I used a canon 60d. iso 800 5.6 and 1/125. zoomed in at 208mm.
