Italian 'Gigi Baulino' in number 26, the 1954 Maserati 250F out brakes German 'Stefan Schollwock' in number 13, the 1937 Maserati 6CM. The cars are flying into the first chicane at Monza during the Shell Historic Challenge at this year's Ferrari Finali Mondiali. The competitors certainly weren't worried about damaging their expensive machinery pushing them to their limits, and sometimes beyond. Baulino went on to overshoot the first part of the chicane, Schollwock took the place back, Baulino then gathered it up and broadsided the exit with armfulls of opposite lock. A lap on, Schollwock was still in front. What an awesome spectacle! 1/60th sec at F8 to blur the background. I hope you like it, Ian![]()
