Again a great composition, seems to lack a bit of sharpness (but that might be my monitor - or specs lol!)

I like the way you composed this, though I'd love to see if you've done a landscape version with a similar comp, just to give more lead in from the fence/wall. Exposure is good though there is some burnout - mind you, it's hard to tell with a compressed 500 pixel image, I'm sure the detail is there in the full size. Despite the burblings, I like it. Smile

Welcome Skye, what a pleasure to view your work and for one who is very humble about abilities I would say you being over modest...excellent winter composition keeping the balance of snow and contrasting detail beautifully balanced. I am impressed. All the best for 2006.

Skye,
A shot that brought back happy memories as we lived in the N.W dales for many years and weather like this you didn't get asked you just went up on the tops to care for the sheep.
Have A Very Glad New Year.

No one has mentioned this Skye but you _can_ improve this by resharpening. I always resharpen my reduced images prior to sending them up to EPZ, this looks a touch "soft" on my monitor. If you'd like an effective way to resharpen, using the Lab colour technique I use in Photoshop (it has to be Photoshop) feel free to mail me via my own Website, you'll find the URL on my EPZ page..the same applies to anyone reading this BTW.
That said it's a beautiful image, aside from a touch of burn out on the exposure.
Highly clickable, as evidenced by so many LOL
Cheers..Leo

I wish I had seen some snow down here in Berkshire.

I think this is my favourite snow scene of yours. As Leo says, a bit of sharpening and control of control of exposure is required, but the comp is great.
