As I won’t be uploading for a while I thought I would leave you with a few shots of one of the red squirrels near here. I have been trying to get natural shots of them searching for food and going about their daily business rather than just sitting eating. Hope you like them.
Thanks for all your clicks and comments on my previous uploads. I will pop in to look at the galleries and hope to upload again in a couple of months or so. ‘Bye for now.

Wow, I think I've overdosed on red squirrels, what a wonderful set of images, so natural.
Have a good break.
You spoil us for choice, Sandra. Each shot is so good and could easily stand on its own. The colour and detail in each could not be better. If I had to state a favourite, it would probably be V 8 because of the upward enquiring 'pose'......just that bit different to the others. But a lovely set. Wish I could give more than one vote!
Ronnie.
Oh, what a cutiful set Sandra - this is the result of your great work! They seem to be grateful...

Pure unadulterated delight viewing this wonderful set!! Love each and every one but V1, 8 & 12 are particularly appealing to me. All the variations have such beautiful detail and colour, plus action of one sort or another and as others have commented, could so easily have been stand alone images. A real treat! Enjoy your break whatever your plans!

The Red what a splendid creature captured so well in your excellent shots. Each one can stand alone and be voted and commented on just superb. If i was forced i would say V8
An excellent series.

(No.8 would be great for a caption competition)..
Great set of images of the red ~ such a shame we dont see them here, just greys.
Nice work.

I could hear the "mewing" of a bird of prey and he sort of ducked and then anxiously glanced overhead
Please don't convert these photographs to black and white, because the red squirrels will then just look like grey squirrels...
Wonderful set here Sandra, most worthy of there own slot, beautiful little creature and photographed beautifully, I only ever got 4 or 5 shots of these and they were taken in Scotland, all 'greys' here I'm afraid,
Geoff.
great set each and every one with superb detail I favour V1 - would love to see a red squirrel myself
Heartbreaker.
Name change - you moved there then?
Quote: What a truly sensational set of natural captures - wonderful detail and colours in all. Very hard to choose a favourite, though I do like the originality of V8. Very enjoyable viewing ![]()

I agree totally - such a joy to view these images, absolutely magical, seems I have already commented and voted but the pleasure second time around was just as great

Squirrels are my favourites but never been lucky enough to see a red one.
