A brave composition that works well, leading your eye up from the central trees to the moody sky. The top section of the sky has lost a little detail and could maybe have been even more moody, but I like the overall result anyway...

Great sky, deserving of the space afforded to it in the frame, has a dramatic minimalistic quality to it Ollie - lovely lovely work.

I like the stark simplicity of this shot Ollie. Bleak but captivating. IMO your crop does'nt make for the most impact though, so allow me a little modification Smile

Now that's what I call a big sky, Ollie. Great dramatic result.
Dave

lovely moody shot. that sky gets so much better than it already is because of those trees. it's the toscane tric, but then much better. regards, bert

Maybe the most dramatic and brilliant version of the eight trees. Congratulations, Ollie. Ovidiu

how nice; attention towards the trees is intensified by the dip they do stand in and the patch lighter toned clouds. Well seen too. alfred
