somewhere in Pula / Croatia
Pula was elevated to colonial rank between 46–45 BC as the tenth region of the Roman Empire, under Julius Caesar.[9][10] During that time the town grew and had at its zenith a population of about 30,000. It became a significant Roman port with a large surrounding area under its jurisdiction
Plattenbau (plural Plattenbauten) is the German word for a building whose structure is constructed of large, prefabricated concrete slabs.

Wonderful old/new contrast, Ollie.
Hope you have a good week.

Whatever the apartment block looks like from outside, those windows will have the most amazing view! Like Chris I'm enjoying this without being quite sure why. It's a very tidy, compact, clearly delineated image. It says what it says very clearly.
