morning all,
as usual thank you so much for your votes and nice comment on my last upload.

another LB shot taken on the "street".
to tell the truth, this is the back entrance of a Sushi bar in a commercial centre.
those of you who love the severity and the graphic properties of the B&W, may find V2 more appealing. Wink

have a great day

francesco

Great composition, and I prefer the colour version - can't really say why but I do.

The severity and graphic nature of the b&w are extremely appealing, Francesco, but I really like the colour version very much. It must be the red (subdued) of the emergency bar that does it. A beautifully-proportioned image.

Bill

They're so different... The golden brown tones are warm and welcoming, V2 is so much more austere. I think I'm in a severe mood though, it's V2.

V1 for my more gentle, softer mood.
Tomorrow may have been a different story however.
I think I will be in a more severe mood then, after my expected visitors tonight !!

'Superb composition, subtle pastel colors, tonality, & focus,' Francesco.

Today, "I can not decide between the color or monochrome." Smile Therefore,...1/2 Vote for each PIx.

Ciao~ Peter

Close call - both obviously work. For me I prefer the texture of the wood in the chair on the colour version - this is a tad lost in the mono. Both are excellent and show the LB off well.
