Sometimes you see a name on a map and just have to go and have a look. If you're really lucky you might find the amusing name plate set up somewhere without a backdrop of rundown bungalows and discarded fridges. I was lucky here but even so a great deal of manipulation was required to get rid of yellow lines, power lines, wrinkle lines and everything else I didn't like the look of. If only you could do that in real life. ![]()

Cor, talk about impatient - it's only been up 1 1/2 hours!!! ![]()
Looks like an interesting little place. Reminds me of the lead in to Port Gaverne in Cornwall. Good bit of tidying up too - you'll have estate agents and holiday mags after you soon to do their advertising. ![]()
No wonder Rachel was quick off the mark - she's avoiding doing her reports ![]()
Definitely a huge improvement to lead in to the town

Thanks for the laugh (and very good work in V1). I have pictures of the sign at Little Snoring, maybe I ought to dust them off...

Some serious cleaning up here Eric, if only life were so simple we'd be able to clean up all the litter and fly-tipping etc., without getting out of our chairs! Talking of places on the map, reminds me of Firkin Point which is situated on the west banks of Loch Lomond, I always liked the sound of it... Dave
Lol Andrew. It's good to see your ridiculous comments back again... but while port is well worth unwrinkling sherry is almost always improved by the addition of custard and jelly. ![]()
Thank you all for your comments and silly place names, they do brighten up the maps and the countryside.
