A female Chalkhill Blue Lysandra coridon, taken early this morning, at a dew drenched Barnack.

Hardly any about yesterday, but loads today. I'm guessing there was a good emergence yesterday.

No sooner had I walked up the path into Barnack. I realised what a heavy dew there had been, so it was back to the car, off with the walking boots and on with the wellies.
Knees and legs got utterly soaked lying in the grass, but the feet were dryWink

All well worth it thoughTongue

Side crop only to achieve 9 x 7

Big thanks to Anthony (zapar40), for his award given to yesterday's uploadTongue

The tiny dew drops encrusting all add a new dimension to your image, Adrian.
As ever, captured in such very fine detail and colours.

Simply rather refreshing and a delight to view, and admire.

Now I bet that surprised you Adrian Grin Wink

However, I think you have worked hard over the last couple of years to try improve in a couple of specialist areas of photography and this is a great example of your work with butterflies.

Most jealous as I would love a shot like this - though of course might help if I actually got out and tried to take one Grin

An outstanding piece of macrowork Adie, the dewdrops give this one another dimension and make it that little bit extra special. I'm sure Lou will have a good chuckle when she reads about your discomfort and you getting your trousers soaked!Wink The weather has returned to type over here now, very wet again and it looks like that for the foreseable futureSad

Must admit Cheryl, I had to look twiceSmile, but I know you have been keeping an eye on me from time to timeGrin
I made a promise this year to improve my BF togging and it is paying off, hopefully, though the I.S macro certainly helps tooWink
