What fantastic work here Samantha, the light, color and background are superb, I have too agree with the others about the border, it is a bit too wide. Try thinner lines or breaking it up with another color or white. I often do the same thing and make the border too wide or distracting and it takes the eye away from the main image. Keep experimenting, the main thing is if you like it, that is all that counts. Fantastic work here.

What a great capture Buck. If it was me I would have put more focus on the bird either with a crop or magnifying it. This would make it more prominent in the frame and remove quite a bit of the rather busy background. I am very much in favor of showing natural habitat but in this instance it does tend to detract from the bird. This is just my personal thought. All the best for 2010.
