The moon looked too fake for me in the first upload, so this one's better (although a well worked moon top right would still work. Nice work.
Martin.
By fake I ment cut&pasted on to a sky that was taken with a long exposure. A moon on a long exposure wouldn't be a clear sharp moon thinking about it, so the first image is definately well put together and thought out.
Martin.
nice arm action with the background ![]()
Yes, this works. Having lost the distraction of the moon, we can appreciate the crazy dynamics. Magic.
Moira
Ooh they do look sooooo pretty all those badges!
thank you for the RC pepes and the GEA, thank you Pete for the HC
Thanks Paul, (and others) good tips you gave me, good job I dumped that other one now hey ? (now v3)
Hi Janet, thank you but nope the shot was easy peasy, took 70 seconds thats all.....
it was all that editing stuff I had to do to put the trails over her head that took time
thats why I prefer in cam images cos I like playing out at night mostly...!
but anyway I done it now, that layering traily thingy
Carrying the amp and her Gibson to the ruin was the hardest bit on the night cos I lost my way in the grounds and I got all girly scared in the dark cos we have to walk through a very dark woods to get to the ruin, it was 11.00 pm - 12.30 am when we shot these
Anyways thats great then thank you very much
Diana
Wonderful stuff, Diana...I rather like V3 with the moon!

Fantastic work Diana. V2 tops it for me, because of that tint of red in the sky. Congrats with the HC & GE, well deserved.
Glad you like my name changed back. ![]()
You've worked hard for this one, V2 for me. congrats on the HC.
Penny![]()
thank you but doh!
V2 is the original easy peasy one! all the work went into V1 !
I just showed what I started with as V2 thats all (variant!)
I like the moon one too Trev but some helpful comments about it meant I removed it and re-uploaded the V1 which was super duper nice
and thank you for the congrats kind pepes ![]()
Diana
V1 Is lovely to Diana
and yes very creative but I do like that red glow against the black in the sky.
Well, first think I thought while looking at V1, "How is this possible, a sky shutter speed of probably 2-3 minutes or more... and a foreground of 3"-10" maximum " then remembered about your previous upload... And if you do remember I called the previous upload a masterpiece! heck if that's a masterpiece I really don't know what to call this one! well the awards are talking for themselves I guess. Hmmm, the sky and previous upload have an idea about capturing like that. However, this one, I need some tips if you don't mind since it's night shot and the human object is a slight moving object, yet, it's so composed and focused well! thanks in advance
Astyag
Thank you again John, Theresa and all, you can prefer which you ever you like of course
Heya, Astyag the sky background trails are a 30 minute exposure in this one, (not 2-3 minutes) and the foreground image is just 70 seconds that’s it really
and thank you for saying about masterpiece!
that one was three hours
Diana
