Photography has been a major thing for me for a long time.
I started in the days of film negative with a Practika BC1.
Then progressed to a Canon AE1.
Then a Canon T90.
After that, medium format, Mamiya M1000s, then Bronica ETRSi.
I used to print my own black and white prints in a makeshift darkroom which I really enjoyed.
Love black and white.
Enjoy landscapes and portraiture.
I seem to have a special knack with b&w art nude.
Over the last few years I have been watching the digital situation with interest, and now have invested in a digital camera (Canon) and my photography is enjoying a new revival.
The digital revolution is fantastic and adds so much more creativity and ease of use.
I have recently invested in a medium format digital camera, the Pentax 645D. It's a superb camera, and so good to use as it tries to get away from "death-by-menu", which is a trap so many other manufacturers fall into!
I have recently opened my own studio, with a custom-built infinity cove which I'm very pleased with. It's available for hire, as am I.
I hope to improve my photography and learn lots while I'm here!
