One of them water fally-downy things.
interested to know what people think.
6secs at f22!
processed from raw
good one , i can see a face, top left!
Well taken.gives a good idea of the size of the waterfall.
Personally i would crop a wee bit off the top,
as it looks overexposed,
perhaps a shorter exposure next time?
Nice waterfall though.
cheers keith, janet and andy!
the whole exposure was a mass of compromises! anything less and the trees and greenery around went very dark and foreboding!!
got another of the falls without the top bit which is not so bad, but which obviously does not convey the scale of the falls!
I absolutely love this spot in wales. You've taken the photograph brilliantly, love it.
Love the composition, the wide angle is perfect for getting it all in.
Have you tried using the burning in tool in photoshop to bring out more detail in the rocks?
Keith, the face is the guardian of the falls, keeping an eye on us!!
i'm still a newcomer to all this digital stuff, despite my long association with photography, so i've never used the burning in tool in photoshop - didn't know it existed!!
The compromises worked well, I tried taking waterfalls recently in Canada and found it very disheartening - stuck to lakes instead!
Beautiful, great colour, light and compostion.
Great image and composition. I'd have cut the exposure a little. That burning tool idea works really well on these scenes.
Great waterfall shot! Well captured!
Woe! You have done a great spot on this one! I know this is not a upload of most recent but I just had to click and tell you what a good job you have done on this one! Nice work...
The water falling and it fanning out at the base makes a beautiful exposure Steve.
