Ron,
I do have a housing for a G12, but here I used a waterproof compact, the olympus tough. It does a good job, and is very good when you consider it's a compact. So it's a reasonable compromise for size and convienience in remote places when the size and weight of a waterproof housing is an issue.
Of course I would have loved to use a housing for my 5D, but this is very expensive, heavy and big. In the end I neither had the budget, nor the space in my suitcase for such a device.
So this proved worth its size and weight.
