This is the seed pod of a Oriental Poppy, very nice picture and nice composition and light,

Perfect focus which captures all the detail of this seed pod, even down to the little cobwebs on the top! This is just lovely Emily, well done!

Excellent shot Emily with the blurry BG.
The poppy seed stands out well.
A fine shot.

Beautifully caught (though I may have used the camera on its side). If you bend the pod over and gently shake it over your hand, thousands of tiny black seeds will spill out - my grandson loves shaking them everywhere!!

Great focussing skills here with the lovely poppy seed.
Yu could try different crops with this image placing the seedhead on a third
or even a portrait format.
