248 (317)What with wind, rain, snow, hail, floods, thunder and lightning, it really has felt like it is the end of the World this weekend. No wonder then that I stayed in a played with some older images. I watched Click on BBC news and in the Webscape section they gave a mention to Pixlr.com. I never gave this programme much software, but after hearing it mentioned I thought - "hey ! What's to lose ?"
I was impressed. ON Webscape they just showed how it can be used to make a photo of a person hilariously funny by sticking a false moustache and a silly hat on it. Not what i am interested in, but actually it was much better. The interface was very much like Photoshop and it was fun. I had a quick play around with it, but I plan to go back and try some more, some more serious stuff next time.
Today I started with this average image.....

and after a few minutes I turned it into this.......

I accept that neither is a masterpiece, but it does show the range of changed that Pixlr can make. It has changed my mind about it.
