This was part of a triptych I uploaded from the series of pictures taken on an EPZ meeting day that started in Whitby, rolled on to Grosmont and finished at Nelly Ayre Foss near Goathland.

I appreciate all the comments and critique and there appeared to be a lot of interest in the hands picture from the previous upload so I thought I would let you have it in all its glory! Love to hear what you think and your C&C is very welcome. Always nice and good for the confidence to see positive comments but equally if you think it could be improved or you just don't like it then this is always helpful.

For those not aware this is one of the Engineers who work on the Sir Nigel Gresley which is a most fantastic steam train cared for and run by Roger Barker and his team at Grosmont.

Steam trains are not really my thing but you cannot help but be in awe of these fabulous feats of engineering and the classic beauty so if you haven't already I would suggest a day out on the North Yorkshire Moors and be sure to take in some time at Grosmont.

Enough waffle. Thanks for getting this far and taking a look. Large has a lot of detail if you have time.

Wonderful detail & a very different type of image it works well as a mono too.

We go to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway a lot as visitors as well as volunteers there, on Sunday we were pulled by Sir Nigel Gresley which was been driven by Rodger Barker one of favorite locos

I love close-ups of hands, they can be so revealing of life and character. This needs nothing further, absoltely superb.

Absolutely cracking image on its own. I knew when I saw you take it that you had seen a winner. Well spotted and even better exposed and presented.
I wish this was in my pf!
