I don't normally take floral shots in bright sunlight but I think I may have got away with it here.........another Wildeve captured in side lighting from the evening sun. Any b/g showing up is the garden hedge which was in deep shadow.
I decided against cloning out the small passenger.
Many thanks to all for the kind comments on Wildeve.

Ronnie.

Lovely capture of this old fashioned sunlit beauty.

I know what you mean about sunlit flowers though. I determined to take the camera and macro lens out as soon as we got back from the morning dog walk yesterday as it was cloudy but bright with perfect diffused light, but as soon as we got back the cloud burned off and we had bright sunshine. It seems that a dawn stroll will be the only answer.

This is a stunner, I love the way the background budding flowerheads stand out so well against the dark hedge, like a crown for the main bloom. Your exposure control it spot on and that's very skillful in the bright light.
