Good Morning everyone.
I hope you had a good BH weekend?

Martin and I went to our local nature reserve again. When we stopped for a coffee at the cafe, this fella was just waiting to be photographed........ bless him.
Aren't animals wonderful?

Thank you all for your continued support, votes and comments.

Border Collies are just wonderful to photograph and quite challenging with all that black and white. You got the exposure just right to catch all the hair details and those gorgeous brown eyes!

Great portrait. When I have more time to devote to dogs ( they need people- cats not so much) I would love one of these guys. You can see their intelligence in their expression.
This is a great shot and "describes" their personality perfectly!
Love it

Great shot of a wonderfully inteligent dog, gets my vote,

i have a question though Bev, how do you manage to keep image size so big but reduce file size so that EPZ will accept it, i'm assuming i need to be an E2 member or maybe i'm just doing something wrong, all my pics are small in comparison, Lovely PF by the way

Hi there Ray

In answer to your question.....yes you're best off joining EPZ because the upload allowance increases to 1000 x 1000 MP. I tend to leave my settings on the standard email web view of 800 x 800 MP, then sharpen the images before I upload. I also often do a 'square' crop on my images - these always look bigger on the web page view.

Hope this helps.
If you need any more help, don't hesitate to ask.
I have learnt so much from all the lovely people on the site, it's nice to pass on tips to others.

Let me know how you get on with that fabulous rig shot. I can't wait to see it published in a corporate mag..... save me a copy !!
Best Wishes,
Bev Smile
