Good Evening Everyone.

Here's another image from Martin's Falconry Encounter at Peckforton Castle.
This beautiful little Barn Owl was such an angel to photograph..... a real poser !
At one point, I lay on the grass and Zoomed in on her and she just stood there watching me. I'll upload this one for you all soon.

I hope you're all having a good weekend.
The weather in Manchester is awful tonight - thunder and lots of rain - Yuk!! LOL

Thanks for all your votes and comments, they are appreciated so much.

Kind regards
Bev Smile

I have always loved the wonderful markings of a Barn Owl's feathers. You have captured them so clearly and the pose is perfect.

She's a beaut. And looking a bit coy too. Aww. I wonder how many animals are self-conscious about having their picture taken. Lovely shot, Bev Smile

Superb image, Bev and good use of dof to throw the background out of focus and make the owl really stand out.

Hi David.
I did not crop the tail off - she is only 4 months old, hence having a shorter tail.
