Kirkjufell at dawn, Having seen so many images of this mountain over the years it was great to finally be at this spot. The temps were below freezing and the waterfall was nearly frozen so I thought it would be nice to include it in the shot for that icy feel.

Cracking shot !!.....that peak is certainly a show stopper, & with the icy f/g, & frozen rockery on the LH side, makes a stunning if bitterly cold image !!Smile

Obviously this was worth the wait, it really is breath taking in 2D, must have been absolutely fantastic to have actually been there. This is a brilliant portrayal of that beautiful spot.
