I came across this scene in a semi deserted hilltop town in Northern Tuscany. I was attracted to the colour and texture of the walls which I thought added greatly to the aged look.
Would welcome any comments.

Truly lovely colors and composition. I thought it was a painting in the thumb size. Well seen!

Very nice combination of colours and textures.

Hello Brian, with my wife's family coming from Italy we have enjoyed the beauty of this country now yearly for a long time...the old look seems to preserve well as detailed in your scene complimented by the varying shafts of light on the weathered walls. Good subtle exposure.
Doug.
I see you are now a digital photographer, progress?...John McKinley is still not convinced.

Lovely aged look to this shot

Thanks to everyone for your comments.
Doug,This was only our second visit so we are newcomers compared with you but I must say I can't wait to return. It is such a dream location for landscape photography and a great place to holiday. I thought your images of the lakes area were excellent and would like to visit there some time also.
Yes I'm afraid I have abandoned film more or less. It was a big decision but a good one and I am really enjoying the change.
Hope to see you sometime in the Highlands.
Regards,
Brian
