As the first rays of morning light caught the mountains I thought I would use this sagebrush as a strong foreground to lead the eye to the ruined hut.
This is just amazing, I love it
the colours and composition are so good, if this dont get an EC I shall eat my computer

The composition is excellent, the lighting is fabulous too ... however the shot looks a little soft. This may be from the downsize tho.
Are you kidding me this is freaking fantastic
I hope it gets an EC or HC
Excellent composition and light, I bet you walked all over that snow once you'd bagged this shot. lol
I think this is exceptional. Very good compositon and clarity.
Great, this deserves to be seen, it's stunning.
The large view looks pretty sharp to me, perhaps Dan's eyes are a bit younger than mine.

Class...pure and simple.
Just love the colour and texture of the snow.
Great detail, very strong composition and lovely light all make this a great image!

Fantastic photograph.A superb composition.
The fact that there are landscape imgages with more votes than this on EPZ today speaks volumes. You sir, have been robbed.
I love these shots with the contrast between the cold blue shadow and the bright golden light.
Stunning image, deserves far, far more attention.
