I thought the dried mud paterns and vegetation made an interesting forground to this shot.

Helen, thanks for your comments. I know what you mean about the horizon as that sort of thing catches my eye too. Thats why I take all my landscape shots on a tripod using a spirit level on the camera's hot shoe as its the only way I can be sure of getting the levels right.
What you see here is not the horizon but the land sloping up from the left. Thats just the way it is.
