Sisters of Mercy
looks like we are in the same colour zone today
Prefer the earlier one...more classy...
Same stunning face but I prefer the colour contrasts here as compared with yesterday's upload.
Another beauty.....such depth and detail.....love the image......
A major winner with that face shrouded in the blacks and reds
Like the colours contrasts and the models expression too.
Good work Barry.
THANK YOU NICK FOR YOUR GEA
THANKS ALL FOR YOUR CLICKS AND COMMENTS
Surpasses yesterday's wonderful portrait.
Wow, even better than yesterday's shot.
Just thought I'd expand on what I like about this. Apart from the colours and intoxicating gaze of the model.
The main thing is the surround lighting - forgive me not my area of expertise - but I would guess a large overhead softbox - probably in the same plane as the camera. A reflector low down very slightly right of centre as we look. Rim lighting to separate the model, and just enough light on the backdrop.
The processing is superb as always - reminiscent of Jill Greenberg's work in many ways, but more subtle and to me better for it.
I would very much like to add my own award to this, I know they dont mean as much as site awards but I truly love this. However just realised by e2 has run out so I'll be back later when its fixed
Superb piece of Photography
I don't know what else to say about your work B' - you consistantly show us fantastic pieces, always beautifully processed, this is no exception, shortlisted again!
Yesterdays image and today's are both wonderful and I would not attempt to judge between them. I always think to judge an image the simplest thing to do is to think to yourself would I have liked to have taken this image myself? The answer has to be "YES" I would love to have taken either of the images.
a really nice image love it ..
Even better than yesterdays.Superb combination of colours and those eyes...................!!
Another superb piece of work. Wonderful colour palette and such a beautiful model. Amazing image.
Black & red go well together but when lit well like this give a lucious quality. The eyes contact is strong and once again those bright catchlights lift the eyes giving great impact.
