Another beauty.....such depth and detail.....love the image......
THANK YOU NICK FOR YOUR GEA
THANKS ALL FOR YOUR CLICKS AND COMMENTS
Just thought I'd expand on what I like about this. Apart from the colours and intoxicating gaze of the model.
The main thing is the surround lighting - forgive me not my area of expertise - but I would guess a large overhead softbox - probably in the same plane as the camera. A reflector low down very slightly right of centre as we look. Rim lighting to separate the model, and just enough light on the backdrop.
The processing is superb as always - reminiscent of Jill Greenberg's work in many ways, but more subtle and to me better for it.
I would very much like to add my own award to this, I know they dont mean as much as site awards but I truly love this. However just realised by e2 has run out so I'll be back later when its fixed ![]()
Yesterdays image and today's are both wonderful and I would not attempt to judge between them. I always think to judge an image the simplest thing to do is to think to yourself would I have liked to have taken this image myself? The answer has to be "YES" I would love to have taken either of the images. ![]()
David.
Superb in every way, thoroughly deserves the awards.
