I live in Edinburgh and have always been interested in photography, but only in the last few years have I been trying to take any "serious" photos. I mainly use a canon 5D with a selection of Sigma lenses, although I recently splashed out on a canon 24mm tilt and shift which I use quite a bit. I also use a Leica C-lux digital compact for carrying about for the times when an SLR would be a bit too obtrusive.

I mostly shoot landscapes but I also enjoy other styles and genres. Black & White is a particular passion, and I'm constantly trying to improve my skills of shooting and processing mono images of all types : landscape, architechture, abstract or portraits. I hope I am improving and feel encouraged when I recieve positive feedback on my uploads.

I have been looking into the possibility of doing a degree couse in photography with th OCA and have already ordered the first year reading list. Hopefully this will help me to progress and encourage me to get out more with the camera... I will keep you posted.
