Demolition durbyI would agree with most of what Scott has said, but I'm not so sure about his comments on the cropping, if you crop the foreground AND the background your going to end up with a very small image by the time your finished and you'll lose soem of the sense of speed. I would be inclined to crop the bottom third of the image and leave the crowd in the background, that will keep the sense of speed in the shot.
There is always plenty of action at a DD, or at least there is here in the UK, the "shot of the day" is more likely to be a car being t-boned or lifted off the ground with a big hit. While this shot captures the speed well, I think the big hits make for a more spectacular shot. I'd try lower down and faster shutter speed and try and get the "big hit" of the day if it was me.
