A very nice shot of Eddie! Only observation is that the white hat just gets lost, and loses its shape. Very minor.

Yes Mike you are quite right. White hat white background. Should have maybe reduced the exposure a bit.

Your model is too near the background Brian. Light is bleeding onto her shoulder, hat and wiping them out. You need no more than 1 stop difference between background and foreground to get a good white background. Her hat should be visible and outlined against the white background. Have another go and see how you get on - good luck with your new lights. Your main exposure looks excellent, nice and crisp and sharp.
