Chilterns

I’ve seen many great images on this site of Red Kites mainly taken at Gigrin Farm. I must try and get there sometime but its quite a hike for me. The Chiltern Hills are a lot nearer (about 110 miles round trip) and I read that Red kites were doing well after being re-introduced about 20 years ago. So I thought I would give it a go. Having made 6 trips I’m finding it a bit frustrating as some trips are completely wasted either due to lack of sightings or their elevation is too high or they are too distant. Anyway I’ve convinced myself that all the hill walking is good for me.
