This Ruddy Darter (sympetrum sanguineum male)was hunting from this conveniently isolated reed. Flying off regularly and returning to the same spot sometimes with small prey. In this pose the wings were approximatelly at right angles to the body making it difficult to obtain focus for a hand held shot so I opted to blur the bachground instead. Not really sure it works?
f8, 1/320sec, ISO400
