Going to Seed

In some ways this is my favourite stage of the Poppy flower. Its gone through the flamboyance and excitement of the early flowering, has been fertilised and is now getting ready to pass its genes on to the next generation (a bit like us humans in someways )
I spotted this exampe at the "Hidden Garden of Sandwich", a must visit if you like Gertrude Jekyll style gardens
