I think the name more accurately applies to the original, less ornate vrsion of the Aqualiega but I reckon my Granny would have liked this one ![]()
I used a circular polariser for this shot as the it was a bright grey light and I wanted to lift the colour and detail. (The first time I've used it with the 300D) It seems to have done the trick as, apart from a crop to tidy presentation and a touch of USM there was no other processing

Superb detail Brian. Nice shot, exposure looks spot on, good colour and DOF. Everything I like in a flower photograph.
By the way I've uploaded the image of the damselflies in flight this morning to answer the challenge you set me yesterday.
