The opposite to "Hanging Loose". I was lucky to catch a pair of Para Gliders playing on the cliffs near Bournemouth this morning.

This chap was carrying out a series of steep banked turns prior to landing and I managed to get this shot.

I have another "Prettier" one which I will put up tomorrow.

Thanks Eric, I must confess, it is a crop. I think he actually filled about a quarter of the frame as he was about 60 yards away. One of the benefits of a good lens Smile

Considering the light, which looks subdued, and the ISO, you did very well to freeze him so effectively. There's no loss of resolution and everything is lovely and sharp.

I'm even more impressed now I know more about the making of the image. The lens is only as good as the photographer who knows how to use it. I only wish my hands were as steady! Well done indeed.

Thanks Mike and Terry, what you don't see is the shots I took that didn't make the screen Smile.

Smilethanks.

What - me up there? No chance - it not the flying that worries me - its the landing!

These guys were really good, this chap was up for about an hour, ridge hopping. He must have flown about 12 miles up and down the coast.
