I finally caught one of these little beggars in the act on taking seed from our Pampas Grass. Most days I come down to get some coffeee and they have been ripping great chunks out, but its always been too dark to get the shot.
I'd just come in from doing some macro work mid-morning when I spotted this one having a go, so quickly switched to my 70-300 L and grabbed a couple of shots through the window.
As a result, this is a heavy crop and is a little noisy having been shot at ISO400 but I was pleased to catch another shot (as its been about 5 years since I last caught the image)
