Re-work of an old image taken about 4 years ago, although I remember taking the image well. This Small Copper butterfly seemed to be very interested in what the Hoverflies were doing further down the stem of the grass, hence the reasoning behind the title!
Many thanks to everyone who kindly commented on my upload yesterday, I've taken the contructive comments on board, but when out in the field on a hot day when the butterflies are being flighty and fickle it's very difficult getting the shot just how you want it......Never mind, I'll keep trying harder Smile
Hope you all enjoy this one as much, thanks for looking......Ade

Great shot Ade. It is not always easy to get them to perform. Here you have though.

Excellent capture and title Ade Smile

Wish I could see it large, this non e2 stripped down version of the site sucks in comparison! Guess the only way to fix that is to fork out the membership fee - been waiting for someone to gift it to me but alas no takers as yet Smile

The Swallowtail from yesterday was superb too. A pity more of its head and proboscis wasn't visible but I know how it is in the field, you have to be grateful for what you can get a lot of the time.

Off to Greece next week so hoping to see a few of those myself!

Incredible shot Ade! Well for novelty it doesn't get much better than this, so I think you should get an award for this one!

You also composed the shot brilliantly as usual!

Well done!
