Out of the Blue.

Caught this Hover-fly just as it was about to fly off the head of a Cornflower.
Wings have picked up a nice bit of reflected light.

A super detailed image, the fly is isolated nicely from the flower yet you still have its vibrancy in the bg.

Straight to the short-list for this wonderful capture Brian. Love the pin-sharp focusing on the hoverfly contrasting very well with the soft focus on the cornflower producing a high impact image. Pure quality
