First one from the Brighton meet 9/02/08. Reuploaded as I put up an argb version by mistake so thanks and apologies to those who already commented.
This is a very daring photo; A very colourful subject against a very colourful background, but IT WORKS!!! The strength that separates both is the focus and DOF. The colours are amazing... the composition is spot on.
Much kudos to you.

Great image John.
Thanks for your time and energy yesterday. It's always great to be in your company.
Brilliant Image. Love it!
Its a shame i couldn't make the meet yesterday.
Very well spotted John! I didn't even notice this guy.
amazing colors and vibrancy.
I would tend to crop off the car though.
Some excellent bold colour in this John and great DOF, makes for an impressive shot. I guess I missed this detour while I was moving the car ;(
Good to meet you again yesterday and thanks for your help with the experimenting. Hope to meet up again soon.
Chosen the right "model" here. The artwork of the tattoo fits in nicely with that on the wall.
I like the way the car & reflections act as an end point stopping the eye from wandering out to the right forcing you back left again.
Thanks everyone for your kind words. I'm really looking forward to our next gathering, hope it's soon.
I love the DOF in this shot and the vivid colours.
