This is Peter the porter at Bluebell railway standing beside Eddystone which he very proudly told me partly belongs to him as, over the years, he has donated a total of 3500 toward its restoration and upkeep.

Comments welcome of course.

That's some pair of whiskers!!
Great to see a happy, natural portrait of someone who is obviously 'comfortable in his skin' as the French say.

Thanks Moira, he was very OK with lens pointing at him, probably used to it, but I still asked first. And yes a great moustache.

John.

Hi John,
Looking at mi fav PF I found this one, in my haste I dint look at who had taken it when I commented, I see it is very different from your usual type of shot, which makes this twice as good now, shame I cant vote again LOL
Regarding Old Pete, people just don't polish the shoes like that anymore Smile

I would have been so tempted to tone this sepia or convert to mono! Glad you didn't!

Excellent shot John.

Thanks everyone.
Sarah. He was a great character he very kindly let me take a few shots on two separate occasions during the day.
Luis. I do the same thing mate, thanks for popping back.
Robin. I was tempted but I really liked the splashes of red against the green.

Regards, John.
