Here are some more pictures, taken on our walk, as we were on the downward slope of the hill. The house that is shown in the picture of the view, of the lake, from the hillside, is Lake Cottage and features in a few of the views of the lake that I have uploaded in the past.
Unfortunately the trip was marred shortly after taking that last shot, by my wife, Peggy, tripping and falling into a bunch of brambles, I 'dashed' to her rescue, and was immediately rebuked for taking her up there. Luckily after a couple of hours she had recovered her pride, and equilibrium, enough to play in a bowls match. Although I am still being held to account for the blame. Woof woof Wink

Thanks for your comments on the previous pictures, and I hope that you like these too.
Brian

I have two postcards pinned up on the cloakroom wall. 'Never argue with a woman, she is always right', and 'Never argue with a man, he is always wrong'. House rules...

Let me see, 10 days ago so I reckon you're out of the dog house by now Brian Wink
Rgds., Jim
PS. Almost forgot, nice set of shots you go Briant, though Peggy may not think her misfortune made the trip (pun intended) worthwhile!
