Another from the Whitby trip in August and a early start all-round
Thanks for the C&C on all previous appreciated as always
Wonderful early morning shot Brian.
Beautiful. Love the ripples
Excellent composition in this fine image!!
It certainly is worth the effort to get up early
Super compo, so beautiful an image.
Well worth the early start.
Very nice one Brian.
Well captured and a lovely sunset.
Sadly thee little cafe just round the corner doesn't open for bacon butties and coffee at that time in the morning anymore.
...mmm business plan for redundant caravan.
A great sunrise image, well captured
Crack of dawn stuff, excellent positioning of the boat..... but no bacon butties
A lovely sunrise capture .......Sandy
A super capture, Brian, and suits the wide format Hope it looks this good next week when I'm there....though doubt I'll be up this early!
Beautifully controlled and captured light Brian.
As lovely as it is, Bri, I can't get away from the red/green aberrations that appear down the side of the lighthouse along with what I have to call an inverse halo, or shaped vignette that also frames it.

I noticed this too...... Lovely capture though.
This can be corrected in photoshop by going to "Distort" then "Lens Correction" and alter the chromatic aberration.
Apologies if you already know this. I think sometimes these appear more after staightning stuff
Really great shot though
The halo is most likely caused during post processing, brightening the sky of darkening the lighthouse.
The Green/Magenta aberration is typical of this lens at the edge, and can be corrected in CS using the green/magenta slider set to -91%. This should be applied to the edge where the lighthouse is only, where its most visible, and it makes a mess of the rest of the image as the adjustment is quite extreme.
For a truck load of money, the 16-35mm doesnt have this problem!
Superb morning capture. Nice composition.
Superb composition and colour.
An excellent light!
Cracking image, very nicely captured.
