Ive uploaded versions of this before but this is a version Ive been working on to enter in one of the Scunthorpe Camera club competitions in the near future. And I value your opinions.
The original shot was taken on Pickering station at this years war weekends.
So thanks for dropping by Brian...............................................
Excellent processing Brian. Well done. Good luck in the competition
Good piece of manipulation Bri.......And as Jim states above, good luck in the compo.
This is a winner, surely. What brilliant work.

Plus one. A cracker, indeed!
Like the manuipulation and sepia tones Brian, for me I just wonder if its worth working a bit more on the darker lHS of the shot
That far away look on his face says so much, and the toning and presentation are excellent: I could not suggest any changes but I am not au fait with this genre and others I'm sure may offer help.
Wish you all the best in the competition.
Great photo ! I like the sepia tones. Excellent character captured here
Great image Brian
excellent processing the sepia tones add that little extra to the previous uploads
It works well for me Brian. Good luck with camera club.
Hey up Bri, this is a bit clever, think i need to get my finger out
I like this very Much indeed. Richard is the portrait man and he may well be right about the LHS but I think the darkness is ok with a portrait of this type.
The processing is excellent - good luck with the comp!
A lovely quality image, Brian, and works very well in sepia. Good luck in the comp!
Fantastic image, Brian, luv the composition and the processing, colour tint is excellent, the image works really well.
Looks good to me - good luck with the comp
I am getting ready for my own submission tonight
This is a marvellous image Brian
I loved the original and think this is even better. Your image leaves one with a sense of this mans war weariness, and as I said originally you could be forgiven for thinking that is where it was taken. I wish you great success in the competition ... Carol
amazing... best of luck with the comp...
Excellent choice of toning, and I like the facial expression captured.
Nice shot did you try a little amount of sepia? How did the comp go firstname.lastname@example.org
An excellent and expressive character study Brian,
Hard to see how you could improve on this!
