Superb close-up of a flower which many overlook. The detail in the white petals is extremely good. I like all your flower close-ups but this is the best one in my view.

Excellent picture. I am not normally a fan of BW but it works very well here. The composition is helped by the boat being more or less on a dividing third and the mast leads to a centre of interest in the sky.

Nice picture of a difficult subject. Personally, I would have tried to remove the other flower in the background. The shot exhibits slightly one of the problems I have encountered with many yellow flowers and have never solved - it is very difficult to get them really pin sharp; some are worse than others and, in this respect, daffodils are somewhat easier. Creeping cinquefoil is one of the worst. I thought that a polariser may help, but it didn't.
