Burnham Beeches is an area forestry with specimens dating back 500 years. Originally heavily pollarded, it is now a protected site of 540 acres seemingly left to deteriorate naturally.
This is one of a few snaps taken on the 11/11 outing.

I was a little dissapointed with the shot myself. When I scouted BB 2 days earlier there was sunlight through the trees and the stream contained sparkle and highlights (no photo taken however) On 11/11 it was dull unfortunately. I will try again if I can get wet leaves followed by sun shine.
For composition I try to follow the tips given at this site...
composition rules but at BB these are difficult to apply.
