This is one of our three degus. They are very fast, and it is not easy to catch them with the camera, as they are also very shy. Only my daughter is able to "communicate" with them. Here's an attempt of bribery.
I'll have a look at your pfs over the weekend, today I am very, very busy.
I wish you all a great weekend.
Take care,
Johanna

The bribery worked very well. Two lovely pet portraits.
An acquired taste these wee beasties, most people would rather have something else I fear, but hey ho we're all different. Try not to work too hard Johanna you always seem to be on the go.

Carol shares my first thought too.- well captured Johanna ![]()

Thanks for a sweet laugh this morning, but I'll stick with porridge for my breakfast. ![]()

I've never heard of degus before and have just had a long read on Wiki. Supposedly very intelligent little creatures. It's a sweet capture.
Having kept gerbils, white mice, and hamsters, this definitely speaks to me ![]()

Two lovely captures, Johanna, and I can imagine the difficulty in photographing these - I had a couple of gerbils a few years ago and they never kept still!
Has to be V1 for my favourite ![]()

where do these rodents come from?
no 2 for me, although the multi-Fit made me laugh!
Two delightful images of these rodents, I've never heard or seen these before. I guess they are related to gerbils
Great shots Jo, possibly asking too much but try and get them on their level, if that's not possible try coaxing them onto a table, just an idea ![]()
