Yes, indeed, what are we gonny do till next Christmas?
Learning to operate the RAW feature of the new toy??? This series is the last I shot in jpeg. New challenge, new brain-storming... they say, this keeps fit. Let's hope.

RAW is well worth persevering with, you'll notice the difference once we get some bright sunshine. And you'll be well practised by then...

Carol has hit the nail on the head, Johanna - the short dark days leading up to and hanging around over the Christmas period are fast disappearing and we can now look forward to spring! Great image however and I am sure you are going to enjoy the wonders of RAW and the control it gives you over your images

That's very kind Johanna, I'm sure you've repaid anything I've don for you a million times over with your good humour and a sprinkling of fine poetry to keep me and everybody else who crosses your path in good spirits.

Raw certainly it is quite a bit more forgiving with exposure, Johanna, and does improve images - well worth the extra time and effort on the results 
A super capture, really made me chuckle! 
I guess they'll have to go into hibernation for a few months...

Haha Johanna, I guess they'll just have to go back into hibernation until next Christmas, but so glad you caught them before they do. Surprised you'd make the change from Nikon to Canon, very few do that. I'm sure you'll find shooting RAW will be an exhilerating experience once you iron out the early kinks, I give credit to it for giving a quantum leap to my photo efforts.

It looks like it will be an unbearably long wait for the three bears, I hope they don't do anything silly or they will be like Ronnie Barker and Richard Beckinsale in Porridge! lol
