Well, here I am back at home again. Everything's washed, ironed, stuck away, hubby's back at work... normal life has us again in it's grip.
We had a very, very nice holiday, I survived the cycling... and was still able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and towns, the posh hotels and the wonderful meals we had.
During the next weeks I will take you to a photographic tour along the Danube, and I hope you enjoy what you get to see.
Today I start with the beautiful town of Passau, situated on the German side of the German/Austrian border, at the confluence of three rivers: Danube, Inn and Ilz, which causes very often problems due to floodings. But the inhabitants learned to live with it.
This was the start of our tour.

I'm sure the most enjoyable part of a woman's holiday is to get home,have a coffee then get the washing machine working overtime.
